PARADE ENTRIES & SPONSORS
In 1977, four upstanding men were enjoying themselves at a local SLC establishment. Suddenly one of the men declared, “Let’s have a parade!”. The four men promptly stood up, walked out onto 400 South and cheerfully marched down the street.
The following year would see the parade officially start with an estimated 5,000 spectators. Since then the parade has become a staple event in the community with over 20,000 spectators and participants.
To continue the tradition, apply to be in the parade.
SIAMSA comes from the Irish language, meaning “celebration”. Everyone attending the parade is invited to join the celebration which begins promptly after the parade.
Vendors can contribute to the community while establishing your brand. Apply to provide food and beverage during this unique post-parade event.
